Slaves? you must be kidding me, people are willing to work $5/day happily, as Bryan said, 40% unemployment, getting a job is a dream for some people, I recently hired a guy who guaranteed rankings, he agreed to get paid 33% after ranking me top 10, so why not take the offer? cheap, and good, well ye I don't really expect him to rank me but if he does, I'm setting up a dozen of sites right away.
People should understand that getting a job isn't easy as before, especially in 3rd world countries, people are happy to learn good skills and work for you if they can just to keep their family running, you would too surely.

Well you can get best spinner, learn them to use it, let them set up wordpress and add 5-10 articles daily per site, learn them SEO (or give them videos) and let them do basic SEO link building, article submission, directory submission, link wheels, etc, they will gain experience and if you are willing to, you can pay them more and they will most likely work better and harder because they got a small promotion.
One thing, if you are going to give out bonuses, don't do it a lot, some get used to it and you will have a problem ,them always asking for a bonus, so careful on bonuses.
