I have a quick POF question - Plenty of fish.

So after about $1k worth of testing ads and targeting on POF I finally got my CTR from 0.023% to 0.332%. It has been stable for the past 3 days. On a daily basis I get anywhere from 50-80 clicks.

Here is my issue. I am using blackpeoplemeet. The first 2 days I was direct linking and had 0 conversions. Today I created a quick and to the point landing page and still a lot of clicks, great ctr but 0 conversions.

I also used 2 different blackpeoplemeet offers so I know its not the offer. Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? I think maybe I need a new offer that Targets black males but I cannot find anything solid and blackpeoplemeet is supposed to be number 1.

Any advice would be great. I worked my butt off testing and now that I have consistent traffic I just need to get it to convert. Anyone?

That site is for black people only, POF has a lot of traffic, are you targeting your ads? Geographically, if i was you i would search where in the United states is there a high population of black people, target those cities/town , go back on POF tweak it, and as for your landing page i can say I've had pretty good success with the registration pages. Also some things to consider are your ads on all day/ by hour/ look at the POF charts statistics from Alexa, etc, if you see there is always a trend on sat and sunday being the busiest of the week which is expected. Just giving you a few tips , and if you provide more information about your targeting we can be able to help you out.

Elexa is a great idea. When it comes to blackpeoplmeet Yes I am targeting only black people in the united states. My CTR is over 0.300% which is very good. Today I had 70 clicks to it and no conversions. Do you us blackpeoplemeet on POF? I think I need to find a new offer that targets black users thats a simple first page.

PS: I logged into alexa. I do not see an area that shows the an Hourly breakdown of traffic or what days have most traffic. Am I missing it?

How about create optin page, so you have targeted black people dating list. So you can send offer to them later. Just my 2 cents.

I'm using hookup but if you're running a campaign for specific people then you can expect low conversion rates because of that. But if you want to stick with it, stay with it and remember find those geo areas Ex Atlanta, Detroit, New York would probably work best for you, try your campaign Sat and Sun and you will see the most click on these days at any hour no matter what, but in the weekday only run your ads after 4 pm depending the city and remember all the time zones this is very important also to be successful in POF marketing.
