Start with the basics I would say. Variables, Constants, Arrays, Objects, Classes, Tuples, Loops, user input, print and so on. Luckily, these are almost common in all the popular languages... so you learn once and apply the knowledge for any programming language you come accross.
p.s. I recommend against starting with python. Perhaps start with C or any other strongly typed language.
