I have a PR 2 site with 6000 pages - Help!

My site is PR 2 and has about 6000 pages indexed. If I placed an anchor text link run through the site, would it affect the rankings of the site which is being linked to?

I would really appreciate your help - I'm just a Noob!

yes. (I hope i got your question right.) You want to ask if your website is able to pass any se juice? The answer is - most probably - yes. (unless you haven't been manually penalized or something like this. )

It will def carry some juice to the other site you link too but not the full 1/8th of the PR 2 which is basically how much each PR link carries..unless your page with the anchor text doing the linking has a PR value also.. also start using more anchor txt links internally to your own pages to increase the sites PR links deeper.

Not earning much. Adsense sucks (get about $3 a day) from about 5,000 page views

it depends upon the site to which you are linking.
there are many factors such as
domain age of the site you are linking to?
niche?
quality of content on domain to which you are linking?
