I Have A POWERFUL Keyterm that is Number 1 ...BUT!!!

I Have A POWERFUL Key term that is Number 1 ...but it doesnt bring as much traffic as it should. The keyword analysis says i should be getting around 6,000 hits per month. Im not seeing much of it. Could there be somthing turning people away or Is there a tool i can use to get the REAL search volume of the term. Its a yahoo ranking term.

In my personal experience, Yahoo traffic tends to be niche/market specific. I've found that Yahoo traffic is rarely as commercially minded as Google traffic, with certain exceptions in markets whose traffic is mainly middle-aged women.

Use googles keyword tool. It will tell you the search volume for the previous month and the average search volume. Just go to google and type in google keyword tool and you will find it.
