I was on ebay selling a pair of expensive tennis shoes which were being auction and someone messages me wanting to buy the item now with a good price so I took his email and we began to discuss things over email. He later on sent me a payment to my secondary paypal, my secondary paypal contains my real name and a bank account and credit card that is expired and no longer exist. When I got the funds I transferred my fund to my personal paypal and the money is now being transferred to my bank. I did this thinking it would be a precaution in case this person tries to scam me with the whole "item not as describe". Anyway if I receive my funds in my bank and the person does open a dispute will Paypal go to the account and take money out of the account that sold the item or will it go to where the money was sent, would they try to take it out of my bank ? What can I do now to prevent any of this and any advice for the future ? If you need more information to answer this let me know . Thanks guys.

paypal will first check the paypal in which dispute was created. if seller wins then your paypal will be in minus.and still you will not add funds in your paypal then it will be limited.but in most of the cases buyers win. so do not worry. just wait.

Ok cool. The thing is I sold the item in my secondary account in which I don't really care if it goes minus or anything because it doesn't have my bank info, but I don't want it to effect my personal one in which I sent the funds to afterwards.

Does your personal paypal account use the same bank a/c as your secondary?

If the buyer open a dispute, since your secondary paypal account credit card is expired, paypal will draw money out of the bank a/c linked to your secondary account only!

Next time you sell something like this, (expensive real shoes, bags, etc.) only sell them through the ebay auction (why risk doing side deals if this is legit?) and if possible add a receipt of the original purchase 'price' (hide the credit card info through paint or Photoshop). Also, if someone sends you a message like this and gives you a good offer for a deal, just open a new ebay listing, put a buy-it-now price agreed by both of you and tell them to buy that, and after they pay it, just take down the original listing.

Primary Account has all my REAL info [Banking acc, credit card, etc.]
Secondary Account was a business paypal account it has my name, but the banking account and credit card on that account is expired the account and credit card no longer exist.

And thank you I thought I should do that but dealing with Ebay is such a hassle I still have to wait 2 weeks for the funds to come in.

Do you honestly believe PayPal can't connect the dots that both those accounts are yours?
Also I'm curious why are you interested in all this if you aren't trying to scam someone. As long as you have tracking number, he can't really say that the item hasn't arrived, as for whether it's what you talked about or not just save your conversation in case you need to present it as proof.

I know they will connect the dots I am just concerned if they will go for my primary account or secondary and it isn't the shipping and tracking that I am concerned with I will gave that to him already. I am just concerned about it being recieved and he say the "item is not as described" and then I end up having to have to send the funds back and then this person sends me a empty box with bricks or some bullish*T because it has happened to me before and to other people I know as well especially when it comes to high priced items.

I will find out and see then.. I'm done with paypal if they do this to me again..

If you secondary Paypal account becomes minus (if the buyer wins the case), Paypal will take the money from the bank account registered on the Paypal account; and that without permission.
I happened to me and the bank account also went minus and I had to pay a large amount for the overdraft.
