Hi BHW!

I have a niche music streaming web app. Competitors are mostly charging 5- 10$ bucks a month for the same service.
My app basically has the same content as competitors (but more) and some features that they don't have, but of course my content is pirated.
Also, I am only accepting crypto as a payment method (competitors are not accepting crypto at all).

How would you get users? The app is completely new and I haven't even really posted it anywhere besides Youtube/Rumble (the content and description has links to my site).
I would post a link to my site, but I don't think it is allowed here.

I would like to also add that that the app is free to use, but if you want to have access to all the content then premium plan is needed.

So your app is like a pirated Spotify?
Have you thought about different forums which offer black hat services and offering on there?

Spotify isn't really a niche, is it? It is similar to brainfm, focusatwill.

Well if that’s the case students seem to be one of your major markets there then.
Have you reached out on any student forums offering this?

I will try that, thanks.
Also, if anyone is interested in helping me with this and thinks that they can deliver results, please let me know (willing to pay).

hope you update your journey, interested in apps marketing atm

I think you should firstly identify your audience.
Once you know your audience then you should think about how you can reach that specific group of people.

I think it would be quite challenging for you to advertise your app (which provides pirated music) on most platforms. But if you're creative enough there is a solution to everything!

Wish you the best of luck my man.

Identify the source of the audience.
Did you try Instagram and Reddit?
I would go to websites related to piracy and crypto and try advertising there.

You could try posting content on tiktok and ig reels promoting your app. Tell them how it's cheaper than most apps. Also you could do some fb and tiktok ads.

i'd be very careful with pirated music content.

Music is one of the most aggressively take-down niches.

Probably more worthwhile things to collect money for. Don't get in trouble selling subscriptions to pirated music.

There are actually solutions like BeMusic on codecanyon that allow you to not pirate the music but still sell subscriptions to your aggregated music library.

Consider doing this the right way.
