I'd love some help on this problem guys.

I've stayed away from youtube since 2013-14. Just began 4-5 days ago and all my videos is ranking on first page on specific keywords finally today. But something else happened. The rank increase but my own comments on my own videos is getting ghosted. How and what can do i do to fix this cause i need a link in the comment section to re-direct users to my LP.

All help is appreciated.

Already doing that mate. But they are getting ghosted immediatly after making a comment now with a link in. And remember its my own youtube channel on my own video.

The comments are probably looking like spam. Why are you not adding a link to the description? Another option if you want a link in the comments is to add it using another account, but this can look like spam too.

You can also use one account to "ask" about the link and use your main account to provide the answer. At least it won't look like spam that way.

Thanks for the reply bud.

The reason i ain't adding the links in the description is because it becomes way harder to keep the video online without getting taken down. + Ranking is harder when low authority websites are in the description.

Ima try your 3rd option to see how that goes.

There are two options in my opinion;
1 is write it in the description
2 is pin your other account comment (With same pic and almost same name so no one will see any difference.)

Did you tried posting normal comments without links to see if they stick or not?
I assume the link that you are trying to post is considered as spam.

I had a situation where i would post a comment, pin it and it would disappear but once i went to incognito mode and opened the video, the comment was still there.

It might be the link itself! I have one link that gets my comments ghosted too.

I've tried multiple links now. Nothing seems to work.

Tell us more about your account: is it new, old, has it posted comments before, etc.

Simple solution would probably be to use a different account with the same name and avatar, then pin that. So a different account posts the money comment, then the uploading account pins it

Could you elaborate on this: "Ranking is harder when low authority websites are in the description." You've done tests to confirm this? I am currently testing with this so very interested.

Sounds very interesting but I think that would be pretty difficult to objectively measure if it has any effects on rankings since due to YT sometimes being very random, at least from my experience. If this is true, then according to logic linking to a high authority sites should have positive impact but I've seen videos with such links ranking poorly on the other hand seen videos linking to unknown and overall poor authority blogs ranking on the top. Even if there is a difference I personally think it would be very minimal one and not the key difference although I could be very wrong.

Definitely. I could have been more clear: I am not exactly testing high authority links, but links in the description in general... was curious to see if OP had any firm test results that led him to his beliefs. So far, it looks to me like the wrong link in the description can kill your chance of being ranked (period), though you can still get views, even with the "wrong" link.

As for objective tests... YT is actually easy to objectively test, but you have to do it on a random keyword, like "purple elephant giraffe table modification" or something. 5 accounts, 5 videos, 1 niche with non-existent competition. If you do this you can split test to see if any variables -- accounts, title/desc, links, whatever -- are causing ghosting or low ranking issues. Harder to test on competitive keywords, since I agree with you that YT rankings are sometimes seemingly completely random -- but it can be done, with multiple videos/accounts in the same niche, and comparing results (though this is more expensive to test and can potentially lead you to inaccurate conclusions if you do not test enough).

Obviously you do not read the emails youtube send to you. since 15th january they have started to remove "non Relevant Links from descriptions and comments" so far accounts do not get penalized but they will penalize in future ( first wave is only removing and warning people.

Obviously you didn't read my thread. I've haven't done any marketing on youtube since 2013-14. Began 4-5 days ago. Just get out of my thread with your non relavant spam posts.

Mind posting a screenshot of the email?

yes, YouTube will not mark your comment as a spam it will completely ignore it just because it contains the link to your money site.
but that is only since the account activities are in a level they need to sand-box outgoing links. (other channels may be able to post a comment with the same link)

1. i don't think that adding a link to the description may de-rank the video
2. maybe you can choose to use a shorten link like t.co on the description ?
3. if YouTube wanted to block all links from the description and comments they can easily set them to be "un-clickable", but this is no the issue
they only want to combat and reduce SPAM, so they picking on channel with fresh activities
