i have a good method on yt, but need some tips

Alright so I found a good method to use on yt to drive traffic to my aff offer, i just need some tips on how to bring some traffic to the yt video itself. I realize this is an extremely noob question but hey, gotta start somewhere.

Right, good way to drive traffic to the actual offer using yt, but little traffic on yt. Did a few things like video response and found the best tags to use with it, but any more advice to increase views would be great.
 
Appreciate the suggestions, I would do that but don't really have much money to invest so looking more towards free methods.

Well honestly I am also looking for a way to increase youtube views, there are some sites that provide views in exchange of credits which you can earn by viewing other users videos, but I don't know any reliable website that does that and whose views are counted by youtube.

Let me know if you find one for yourself:)

Will do. Best thing I've figured out so far is making sure your tags are good (youtube has a keyword suggestion tool) and making your video a response to another popular video that is similar to yours.

Do some SEO on the video and get it to page 1 :)

Thanks, my knowledge in SEO is very limited, but i did manage to get it to page 1. However it was for a search that not a lot of people will use lol
 
if your conversion is so well, then you can leverage using PPC. it quick and you'll more targeted visitors but cost is involve.

Yeah was considering that but dont want to spend anything on it until I know whether or not the conversion rate IS good. Just put the vid up a few hrs ago and it has something like 75 vies and of those 75 about 24 clicked the link to go to the aff offer, however no conversions yet.
P.S. Is 24 clicks on an ad out of 75 views on a video a decent rate?

I have the opposite - lots of views on youtube, but very few website visitors and minimal conversion.
 
You can promote your video by posting comments on related videos as yours, but i recommend having more than 1 video uploaded, upload like 100 of the same video but on 100 accounts with diffrent titles etc.. then post 10 comments from each account on related videos

eg, if your promoting a pc game crack you would post a comment on a crack vid for the same game such as, this Cod black ops crack is out dated and no longer works, click my username for a fully updated and working crack,

if you can afford the accounts and the bot you can then thumb up each comment which will generate alot of traffic.

For the SEO part, it's actually quite simple. For example lets say you have a site on the tv show Entourage. In the title you want to repeat the keywords twice. Ie: Entourage TV Show | TV Show Entourage.

In your description repeat keywords as you normally would, ie: http://www.yoursite.com Watch the tv show entourage and view all entourage episodes by visiting the website above.

Finally, in your keywords put tv show entourage, entourage tv show, entourage episodes, etc. Take advantage of the YT keyword suggester as well.

That should get you a head start and helps place you higher in the Google Video ranks.

backlink your video...you can do this by using free backlink tools (search google) or use Vagex

Well, if you get a handful of people a day from a "search that not a lot of people use" at least you're getting found. How people are finding you through that search?
