I have 2 questions

Hello,

I have two questions.

1. I am doing SEO for one of the websites.

And even though I am targeting separate keywords for different page. Still all keywords are giving ranking for main URL only and not on their particular page which I am targeting during submissions and all.

Cant understand why is that happening. Can anybody guide please?

2. When doing Web 2.0, can I use the same content for different web 2.0 properties? Or I have to use different content? And if I have to use different content, then is it good to just spin the content?

3. When doing any other submissions, do we have to use different unique description all the time in all kind of submissions? Or same will be fine? Eg. For Social bookmarking, shall I create different description for all submissions or can I use same description for same URL?

Please guide for this.

1. Are the keywords very similar? "Buy shoes" and "buy some shoes" for example? If pages are too similar, you can run into https://www.google.com/search?q=content+cannibalization&oq=content+canibalizat&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0.4323j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8.

2. It should be different or at least spun. Duplicate content generally won't index, which means that you won't get credit/value/authority/link juice from backlinks from pages with duplicate content. Spun content is fine if the web 2.0 isn't that important, but original content is better, since original content is will pass manual a review by the web 2.0 platform and/or Google.

3. You should at least spin your descriptions.

1. No. The keywords are different totally.

2nd & 3rd: Ok I will try that way for sometimes.

Do you have an example of the kind of keywords you're working with?

Eg.

Kayak covers
snowmobile covers

There are separate pages for each of them.

Descriptions should not be identical, but still they have to differ from each other.
