I hate writing with a passion.

I am a moderately hard worker when it comes to editing a wordpress site or managing tools and such. I can sit down and grind out hours of crunching numbers, but fuck me if I have to write a 500 word article on boats. So far, I've been scraping by using random articles across the internet using my own methods and I have been getting results, but not quite what I need. The beauty of creating your own articles is that you can fine tune your articles to entice the user to stay on a couple more seconds, and ultimately a few more dollars in your pocket.

Oh how I envy those that tap out 14 articles in a row. It takes me at least 30 minutes for 500 words and at the end, it's a mile wide and an inch deep. There is so much information about so many niches out there that it's hard to professionally condense into a short article. I'm also not too great with fluff content either.

I feel like I could have so much more success if I pump out even 3-4 articles a day in hour or two. There is so much more potential to link-building when you wield the sceptre of content.

For the successful writers out there, what's your secret?

I don't know about others, but I love what I do. And what I do is write. I guess it comes with passion for the art and creativity.

If you don't like writing don't force yourself. You should only focus on what you love and let others handle things they are good at.

What's the secret? You just gotta love what you do. Nothing more. Nothing less. It is not necessarily passion or something but if you choose to love writing or find ways how you would love it, then you could be a successful writer.

If you choose to love writing, then obviously you would do your best. You would make sure that every sentence, paragraph and piece is written to utmost perfection.

You have to love writing. You have to relish the challenge. I write fiction and have written hundreds of articles on numerous subjects. The act of rewriting the words of others is valuable because in the long run I become more articulate at getting certain points across and at disseminating information.

Practice (almost) makes perfect.

Keep on keeping on my friend, it's like exercise. :)

First of all you should change your mindset about hating something, after that all comes with training and getting better at writting

Believe it not, I don't particularly like writing even though I do it quite well. In fact, I've written material for websites since '95. But that doesn't mean I love doing it. I would much rather be drawing.

Nevertheless, I use the First Draft Content Generator to pump out articles for me. Takes about 2 - 3 minutes of tweaking and then I'm done.

Look it up. Download it. And use it.

That part of writing, you'll like.

I guess that I love writing. This may not be a secret but if you don't enjoy it, then why do it?

I try and not force myself to write more than I can handle in a single day. five or six 500 word articles is about as much as I can pump out in a day. Any more than that and my brain starts to hurt. You should set a goal for yourself daily of how many you want to get done. I feel accomplished when I reach 5 articles in a day and I can sit and relax most of the day.

Writing content for web 2.0s is probably the most boring thing ever because you have to write about the same subject MULTIPLE TIMES. That shit sucks!

If you dont like writing have someone else do it.
It's cheap to get a good writer and spend your time
on what you do like doing.

I hate writing too. If you don't mind talking, just record yourself and send it off to be transcribed on Fiverr.
Or find a few articles, highlighting the interesting parts, and make a simple guideline (I can even do that), and get somebody at iWriter or Fiverr to do it for you.

Outsourcing is truly best for people like us. ;)

Just pure discipline. I structure my time and it seems to work. Have 20 minute blocks. Then a break 5-10 mins. Then another block.

You have to just set times and do nothing but work in those times. Also, creating an environment for work helps i.e. not laying in the bed on your laptop etc.

if you don't like it , leave it, let someone else do it... work on something you like.

Just outsource it, i hate writing too, there is no fun in writing whatsoever, just pay someone to get yoru shit written end concentrate on the fun parts of the business

I used to hate it to, get dragon naturally speaking (in the downloads area) you can churn out articles in no time. It feels weird at first but you get used to it and if you know the subject well you can create articles much quicker.

Thanks, I almost forget the software. It may actually save a tons of time if it really works without many errors.

It will,if you have a good mic.I'am using samson go,which is quite cheap but you can use some w/o condenser mic too :)

I think you don't hate writing, but you hate writing about subjects you don't know about. Look at your original post. It's already 225 words, over half of a 500 word article. I bet you wrote that in minutes without even thinking about it, because it was on your mind.

Try to get the same mindset when you write an article. First find a niche you're actually interested in, learn about it, then imagine in your head you're explaining it to us, to a kid, to a newbie. Don't think about it like someone will judge you or that you're doing to please somebody, or somebody will check your article for grammar or call you out on mistakes. Imagine that you're teaching somebody who is clueless, or having a debate with someone you know personally, then write it like that.

Dragon naturally speaking can help if you if you're the type of guy who can dictate and still have his thoughts gathered. Also you can try writing using voice recognition on your phone. If you have an iphone you can use siri, some said it's not bad. Otherwise just write and you'll improve over time.

And remember, in the long run you can always hire a writer and spend more time doing what you love!
