Dunno what I've done, but now regardless of what theme I use, I can't see any of my ads, just the words "your ad here", unless there are no ads to display (which doesn't seem likely)

what ads are you saying? dont you know that you cannot put ads on WP ? if your blog is hosted on WP you cannot post ads. Host it somewhere else.

Just re-install it and don't repeat the errors you made with this install. I'd rather start from scratch and do it right than bang my head against the wall for hours.

That's what I tried: did a automatic reinstall of wp 1st, then deleted all the themes, and reinstalled the ones I liked. Still not working though.

EDIT: I'm sure it has something to do with this Artisteer2, and the theme I designed with that, as the ads stopped working properly after that.

What kind of ads are you trying to display? It should be pretty easy to rule out if it is the advertiser (just put the code on a basic html page on the domain). If it isn't the advertiser and you started with a clean DB and install, I would be wondering if it was cached? I'm just guessing here because this is odd.

Tried it on a blank html, and the only thing that show are the words "your ad here". re: cache, I do have wp super cache installed and on.

Ok, I just tried on a different blog (that I just set up on a different site), and it's still not working. I C&P the source code straight from the adbrite site

if you can't do it manually, grab a plug-in. i can't remember the name off the top of my head, but google it. once you install it, all you have to do is paste your ad code and it shows up automatically. try that man..

Exactly...swapping advertisers is easy enough. And now you can change the title of your thread to adbrite instead of wp ;)
