I am talking about "name wasters" on Blogger and YouTube. Blogger is my favourite platform for building free sites and all sorts of good and unique names seems to be taken by people who signed up before 2006. And the idiots didn't even bother to build a nice blog..most of these blogs have 0-1 post!

Anyone else share my views?

I have similar thing -- some guy owns the dot com of my main site. He has had it, before me, for about 8-9 years and never put anything on it so annoying!

They're still waiting for someone who could effort paying 1k's of dollars to take it back. That's the domain business

Had they not taken it, the names still wouldn't be available today, as someone else would have snagged it.

Don't sweat it...use your imagination a bit.

I have experienced that too. There are indeed a lot of good domain in blogger with very poor content.

iv offered a guy money on a site he NEVER uses.. i just kept going up with the price just to see if he woudl say yes. that was 3 years ago. he never said yes, and 3 years later the site is still useless. so frustrating because i could do a lot with that site.
