Why dont you contact people to sell your unique products for you with their accounts?

Ebay is losing traffic, no doubt.
I am a member (only buyer) since 2005 and for the first time I have received an offer for 3 months of free bid insertion fees. No fee if items are not sold after the end of auction.
This means that times are getting hard for Ebay.

eBay won't be around for that much longer. Not only have they fallen apart when it comes to traffic, but Amazon has taken the shinny light from their hands. No one talks about eBay the same way they used it, and major part of it is the fact that eBay has screwed the majority of its users.
I used to be a Platinum Powerseller on eBay, one day I woke up in the morning and lost my account for absolutely no reason. I learned a lesson, and that lesson is never consider yourself a business owner, if someone can simply come and turn the light off without your consent.
I hope eBay falls apart, and I hope all their investors eat shit. I hope they really hurt themselves as much as they have hurt so many business owners who have seriously lose their livelihoods with eBay's stupid and unnecessary fee hikes. eBay is the worst company in the world, I would put it close to Walmart in corruption and overall control. FUCK Feepay! I hate Amazon, but they keep the Chinese out of our market. eBay welcomes them, and is willing to ban your account if a Chinese seller complains about you!

But yeah, if ebay's competitors could pony up the cash for TV advertisements, the general public would realize "hey, there are other auction sites out there..." and ebay would start to feel the heat more.
I would love to see ebay crash and burn. But until the day its no longer a virtual monopoly I guess I'm stuck with it.

I'm not sure where this obsession with TV ads comes in, those are not the people using ebay. If anything, they should be advertising online, most likely on facebook.
However, facebook marketplace to me appears to be a prime piece of VRE to start something like this. The only issue facebook has is it's branding as a social network. not as a place for auction items. With Zsuckerman at the helm, I doubt they will ever get to a point where they can create new brands.

Go into facebook and type in 'marketplace' .. an app that is part of facebook will come up. An auction platform there would be simple. the social viral capability of people bidding on auctions would be absolutely scary.
Can you imagin how well your auction does when you put up a guitar for sale, and a guy bids on it, and when he does, it notifies his friends, and friends in their network?
Perhaps they don't need to rebrand, maybe they just need to include it and the networking will just carry it out there till everyone regards facebook as a place to bid on auctions while they play mafia wars.

I'd love to see eBay fall by the wayside as their greed is ridiculous. I don't know how anyone can make a living selling there any more because the fees cut into your margins so high. Don't get me wrong, I still use it but mostly for small stuff and only free listings.
I've been using eBid for a while but traffic simply can't compare to ebay yet. Still, you gotta love no listing or final value fee option for life with a seller+ account.

Im pretty sure ebay replica selling is dead.oh well, if u can sell on ebay then use it. otherwise move on !
ebay is a great place to sell ahem "replicas" and do BH.
So what if the fees are high as long as u sell high urself lol ? they are not dumb and neither are we
Ive heard of big designer companies hiring people to do nothing but sit on ebay all day and look for replicas, then the companys lawyer(s) send ebay a letter telling them to remove the seller and item or they will sue..
Replica selling was good 1-4 years ago..

Well, everybody can hate ebay.. but if you know how to overcome it.. it turns you to profit..
why not before you make any listing of your products, do calculate your profit by using ebay calculator..
and before you start selling, do your research on hot items, i think it makes sense.. and of course ebay are blood suckers, then let us learn how to suck blood in a clean way too?

but why not switch over to amazon and just sell your stuff there...unless your selling antiques, cars, houses on ebay, there's no reason why you shouldn't be also selling on amazon
