I hate blogs

Blogs are bad? I was always thinking in this way about social media...

haha exactly -- the difference is that your content on a blog continues to add income to your business/the value is always there.

Once you give up 10 hours of work to a business you don't gain anything else, nor anything long-term.

I second this...

The thing you get in a 9-5 job is experience in everyday life and you become expert in what you do.

It also depends what you are working too...

OP, it depends how you work, if you work smart then its very high rewarding.

This advice is right on. You need to put in your own effort to get the blog going. Write some unique content, at least 1-2 posts a day. Once you start seeing the first few visitors come in from keywords in Google you will have lit a fire of excitement inside you that you can't put out. Push forward, especially during the hard times and you will be successful.

Haha you blog everyday....I am gonna fill you in on a little secret....people use computers to blog for them ;)

After a blog is created with sufficient unique content to attract the target traffic, especially a miniblog or micro niche site format, setting up a semi-active auto-posting function can keep the blog appearing active. Reposting content from an article site twice a month will keep it rolling for years to come, especially if the site is not overly SEO or Google-reliant for traffic.

I think that's the funnest thing I have heard yet on an SEO forum.

really !! is this why you hate blog ? I mean seriously?

Yeah, you need to outsource. It's not that hard - or expensive!

Or just "curate" content - OR, just embed YouTube videos. You don't need more than one or two updates a week either so chiiiiilll :)

Take a different approach and learn to like what u do. If not then you'll end up the same whatever u do, that includes offline work.

Here's a quote for u "Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference"

I hate blogs. Here's why. The content can be evergreen, but you have to continually update your blog. It's never-ending. People expect a blog to have updates, right?

That's why it's called a blog. Otherwise you'll name it a website or static website.

Perhaps you should consider a different system, like static pages?

Blogs (web logs) started as an online diary long ago that were intended to be updated in reverse chronological order to display current information.

interesting history: Did you know that Steve Gibson was the first hired full-time blogger back in 1997?

Don't create a blog if you want passive income. Build a retail site, or an adsense site, affilaite site, or something besides a blog.
