So yeah ... not that my computer was crashing or anything but the damned 2080ti ran at 85C when I was rendering 3D or doing some video production work (mostly 4k) including having Photoshop open at the same time and working on it.
Spent about 3h setting this up and managing things in the case (airflow) and now the GPU is happily sitting at 43C on full load whilst performing 20% better so totally worth it.
Wasnt really careful for what this piece of chip is worth (about 1k) but was happy that things worked out in the end.
