U got a VPS what a lucky bastard you are! I use scrapebox for a lot of stuff building links, spam the concurrence sometimes ( I don't like neg seo I find it lame but I had a few fights with some other bastards in my niche who did it and they were dumb enough to tell me : I fucked up ur website UR MONEY IS MINE HAHAHA), gigs on fiverr, etc... and the list goes on. Scrapebox is still one of my go to tools for SEO u just can't use it as before even if I can't really tell you the difference with before since I don't own it for long but look for good tutorials here, test, see what's work, check others thread and twist it.
But please be sure to do it on test site before, I fucked up a site of mine while I was testing. I feel guilty now because I ranked well wanted to sell it aaaaaaaand any money I could have done just vanished. Noob mistake but I learned a lot from it.
Look for Scrapebox advantage in download section and there is also a good thread here with a lot of good tutorials ressource.
Hell look at loopline signature, you have a good exemple of twist for making money with scrapebox
