I got scammed

The issue is that we did the payment in 2 times. (See screenshot, I blurred his name which is fake anyway he's using his sister's name, and I don't know if it's allowed to show it there).

First it was $325 but the amount was heldman for suspicious transaction (he doesnt have a business account so big amount is suspicious) So, what we did was open a dispute for that and reduce the amount to 150$ and he refunds me back 175$ then I will have to send it over again.
Since I already opened a dispute for putting back the first transaction to $150, I cannot open another dispute unless for "unauthorized transaction". So I did that, but I didnt win the case... because for Paypal it was an authorized transaction and they can't protect buyer for that... so I'm losing $150 already.
For the $175 remaining it's reviewing by Paypal. But I really don't know if I will win.

The issue with calling Papal is that you don't really know how they are going to feel about you trying to purchase a twitter account. What if they don't like it and they ban you, and there goes your paypal account. You'll regret it if they ban you as this will affect you for a long time. What I would do is just take the loss. And take it as a learning experience.

I have 2 disputes with paypal, and I have already lost 1 of them.

So here is what happened :

I just got scammed, I wanted to buy a twitter account but he never delivered. The account cost $325, he told me to accept to mark it as delivered but then Paypal blocked suspicious transaction since it's a big amount. He told me to make a dispute to refund the amount in half so Paypal won't hold the amount anymore. So he refunded 175$ then I have to resend 175$. Then he faked out the delivery by sending wrong password for the account and he disappear.

I tried to join him via his Twitter account and email but he didnt answer. Tonight, someone replied in Spanish and said that he's the real owner of this account and the account was share with his friend. He said that his friend tried to sell his account. He tried to make me believe that he could only talk in Spanish, but I know he lied because he could understand perfectly what I said.

So, I guess it was the same guy (the scammer trying to fake out that his friend was doing fraudulent thing with his account). He's Colombian.


He also told me that he will help me to refund and then asked me to open a dispute.

So I did, but now he said that his friend doesn't want to refund. So, he will refund it in his place, but only in one condition... he told me to cancel the dispute, so I won't receive the amount twice (which I didn't, I wont get scam twice in a row).


Now he blocked me from Twitter.

So, guys what do you think can be done ? Do you think that I should call Paypal, since one of my case it's still under buyer protection. I still have the full conversation and all screenshot to prove it.
