Hello guys

I have a serious problem. I have built several Facebook pages that generate good revenues together with a friend. In our business manager I was admin and he was employee. One day he wanted me to upgrade his role to admin so that he can use more functions. I believed him Some weeks later he totally kicked me out of the business manager. I can't post anything anymore on our pages.

I am now in contact with a lawyer. The problem is that it would take around 5 months until the court will force him to make me admin again and there is always the risk that they don't understand the case and give him right, what would leave me with high costs for the lawyer and the process.

I also tried to contact Facebook but that didn't help. Is there anybody who can help me with this?

Happened to me, Facebook is not liable for this bs sadly

rebuild another page.... litigation can cost you more

Without having solid contracts between you and your friend you are screwed. There is nothing lawyer can do to prove that FB pages belonged to you and not him and you would be throwing your money away. There is nothing that FB would do to help either, they have thousands of pages that have ownership transferred on daily basis. They can't get involved managing all tiny transactions that happen between people.

with a friend
Everyone on BHW seems to have the shittiest of friends lol.
You should’ve asked what functions your friend wanted before making them the admin. There’s a reason why FB offers several roles right from content manager upto admin.

Not sure how the law works where you’re situated but in most cases, it’d be a lost cause.

with the fees for lawyers might as well, make a timeline and screenshot of how shitty that friend is and open a new group while trying to get back the old group.

Better build other pages and spend the money you're ready to spend on a lawyer into promoting them with Facebook ads. Moving on is your best option in this case.

Good luck

There are other roles in Facebook Pages that give all permissions except ownership. If you gave him ownership yourself without him hacking or phishing your account, then there is nothing Facebook can do. You need a ton of proofs to get your pages back and it costs a lot to deal with legal proceedings. I don't think if there are any shortcuts to deal with it.

How he removed u from admin?
When i try 2 remove another admin with me, i must wait confirm from this admin 2 accept this remove

Damm. At least I get reminded once more that I need to be cautious when giving certain rights to people on FB pages. No, FB cannot get involved in these transactions, as even if they have the history, what would tell them that you are not scamming your friend by selling him the page and then claiming back (thus stealing his money)? I don't mean you did it, but I do mean that there are enough people in this world to commit those immoral actions and it would be nonsensical for FB to act the court judge there.

As others have also said, unless that page is valuable, learn the lesson and move on rather than investing your life in litigation. Invest that part of your life in business instead.

Hello! If you and your friend did not have an official agreement on the basis of which you can restore access to your account, it will be much cheaper and easier to create a new public page and spend money on promoting and advertising your page than on a lawyer and courts.

Yes! he can switch your role on the business manager if his admin on the business manager. So why you added him there in the first place?! you could give him any role for your FB pages but not to the business. Maybe you can contact FB support, it's your only way

The channels are also his property so it is actually fair to make him admin. But of course it was a mistake.

As someone has already advised, if those pages don't really bring some solid money, the money you spend on a lawyer can be used to create and build some other pages.

Unfortunately, you don't have too many options, I understand that it's hard but life and the nonsense that we do is sometimes brutal, you have to move on.
