I got on HuffPost and a few other sites, how will it help?

I got my domain name listed on there in some articles. How will this help? I used some backlink checker online and it didn't show them as backlinks (i originally used the domain as a forwarding address but now put up a WordPress.

I was doing HARO to see what it could do for me.

well, they're backlinks, so they help with rankings and boosting your domain's authority. And if the articles are popular you're gonna get traffic, too.

If you were to start an agency tomorrow, you could add “We’ve been featured on HuffPost” to the reviews section.

ok great.

So far I am on Huff Post, Reader's Digest, Life & Style, SheFinds, Editorialist, Insider, and a few others. My website is brand new, I mean a real brand new January 3rd date... only installed WordPress with just a front page with my name and info nothing else. I don't think the backlinks will register as anything yet.

According to my experience, those links don't give immediate results, but the compound effect that builds up over time is excellent. Only if you are regularly updating your site with content.

What are referring to? I didnt post links in the comments, I am part of the actual articles....
