The Mai/June update hit my site. For some keywords I am not even in top 200 anymore but all is still indexed. I used some backlinks from competitors, those were spammy pbn links but his site is still same rankings. Or maybe it’s because my content ? I am converting my site into laravel but it still needs time, current site is woocommerce but it has many issues in the search console. What should I do to recover it ?

What kind of content did you create? AI content, duplicated one, rephrased, translated or any kind of low quality stuff?

No unique human written content but some content is quite old

was your website ranking before.?
is your content ai generated? or is it copied?
first check your content and backlinks.

Is your site age comparable with competitors
As your content is hand written, do you have proper breadcrumb structure, and have done Internal/external linking to important words/keywords
Are your images unique

I have the same problem. I think this applies to AI content.

It had better rankings but not page 1. And no it’s not AI but content maybe needs a refresh

Update your content.

Take a look at the pages that replaced your website on the first page. Read their content and copy the quality and structure.

You can read more about what Google did with their core update in May, here: https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2022/05/may-2022-core-update

if your website is not ranking for any keywords any longer then it's most probably penalized,
if your link profile consist of only these cheap links better drop off the website and start with another one,

you might still be able to recover,
but it will take a long time in most cases,
not really worth if you didn't invest as much in links,

don't get things wrong about content, you don't need "quality" content to rank,
as long as the content is not spammy, you're not mass publishing, no keyword stuffing & seen as original you can rank

I think you already know the answer. Post great content and use great backlinks.

If its AI then tlwe can justify the hit, otherwise you need to disavow those pbn's might be your competitors did not come into radar this time but in future it can be. Dont mind spending money on good things rather then cheap pbns

update your content and see if it makes any differences.

Most of the user get hit by google only for AI content.

Colleagues correctly advise paying attention to the content. But at the same time, we must not forget about technical optimization.
Check the page loading speed, do your images weigh too much? Are the videos loading on the page, slowing it down?
Google tracks a lot of parameters.
