My fionce & i set up an account. We were selling our graphic design services.
We been a member for 3 months with no issues. NOw i called ebay to request an increase on my account. because my limit was $500. I spoke to a fat ebay rep he sounds fat atleast...and it sounded like he doesnt get paid much....so he would and me through every question only 10 minutes after i asked the questions....then he said oh your affliated with another account. And i told him no i wasnt in all reality i wasnt. So they blocked me...with no reason....SMH...theres so many account out there with so much negative feedback why arent they getting delt with.

Yep, one of the worst things you could ever do is call in and talk to someone at eBay. Any kind of "human inspection" = bad, even for fully legit people. I was once banned because I was expected to make $70k a year (which is less than I make on some of my top accounts) in the electronic market. Computer system didn't see me as a risk, but an actual rep did - for whatever reason.

Wouldn't talking to an ebay rep via a chat session be the same risk of a human inspection as well?

No, because the chat session people are from Singapore and have less access to information and are too lazy to really look into things. It's more about how many people they can serve in a day, where as if you are speaking to someone in the U.S., Canada, Australia, etc - it's greatly assumed (someone claimed to be an eBay rep on another forum and said that this is how it is, but who really knows) that phone reps have a more relaxed quota and more access to information and are more willing to go in and compare IP information, or phone information, credit card info, comparability between items sold, etc.

Ebay is all about the mega sellers. Big name retailers selling their shit there. They always find a way to squeeze the little guy out somehow. Many years ago it was a decent place.

congrats! You will now stop losing money and will make something for yourself! You can make more money selling same services on your website> say good bye to egay!
