I got banned for something totally questionable...

I made a joke about setting some flip flops on fire. They say i broke rule number one (harm towards a person place or property). Flip flops are property i guess? Come on!

It really seems like reddit started censoring people alot more - my account was in good standing for 9 years, only 1 warning.

Anyways, long story short, I need reddit for work. Now i cant log in on any of my ad accounts or anything. I tried disputing the ban, but they denied it. I'm not sure what else I can do!

Any advice how to get back on reddit? I heard they fingerprint your PC, and track all VPN routes so i'm wondering if i get/buy a new account how I can ensure they won't identify and re-ban me?

Sorry to hear that, and yeah Reddit is becoming more weird and restricted but for getting back on Reddit you can use a different device that's if you haven't already been accessing your account on all your devices can imagine since it's 9years.

So if no new device use any of the cloning apps or anti detect browsers, will advice you try mobile as well as the desktop versions.

No one can tell you the secret sauce to Reddit but freshly unused device would be perfect so all the best.

Also do read through similar posts here as well as Quora for what people did in similar situations.

Lost a 3yr old account the other day after posting a text with phone number, got flagged then I deleted it, that got account suspended, lol.

I have an old iphone thats never had reddit installed on it and a separate SIM so that should work, but only if I can get reddit to install on the old phone.

When a subreddit bans you for violating their rules, Reddit gets a notice and they check your account... 9/10 times they'll ban it because you didn't respect the sub rules...

People on reddit are bunch of assholes full stop, there is a network of flaggers over there too.

Try setting up a new account on a clean Android device over 4G, worked for me.

a good anti detect browser + mobile proxies should get the job done. Just make sure to increase activity in the account gradually and you should be good

i was responding to a meme/joke in a niche sub, and the mod thought it wasnt funny and it was serious for some reason to that mod, removed the account than shortly after that recieved the "change your password" shadowbanned after that, im guessing the reddit filter thought that was a bannable offense,but i suspect there was something else triggering ti too(not using any anti-detection). reddit has been hamming to rightwingers for a while, with luigi, kirk, and ice, reddit has been increasing thier bans just by looking at keywords people are using.
