edit : when i visited the site it shows that it's a chrome search engine extension

but why the fuck does it have that weird name ffs

Don't worry, just a referral spam.

Referrer spam (also known as referral spam, log spam or referrer bombing) is a kind of spamdexing (spamming aimed at search engines). The technique involves making repeated web site requests using a fake referrer URL to the site the spammer wishes to advertise.

I've checked the url and it redirects to a chrome plugin, which you don't want to download for sure (most likely adware)

Because they wanted to you to look into it and visit their offer, kind of like clickbait. It worked on you and it probably works on a lot of people, but I'd imagine the conversion rates for that type of traffic are abysmal.

and.. don't install that extension, maybe it's a keylogger (a chrome extension can read all your websites data) that means your email and passwords so, be careful.
