I got a letter from Hostgator about updgrading their servers....

Don't worry 
A few days ago they upgraded my server and all went smooth.
However my old cpanel link stopped to work. And I was frightened for a few seconds that somebody hacked me Then I checked my email and I received an email from hostgator with new cpanel link.

Don't worry , they will Move your server with secondary backup so you will not lose anything.. might be 5 minute downtime you will face.. you can register in Pingdom to check your downtime so when they are transferring the server and if you keep getting Pingdom alert then you can contact them regarding downtime..

thanks. I get enough traffic where even a little downtime can cost me money so I was actually worried but it sounds like smooth sailing.
last week they had a server issue and my site was down for the whole morning so when I read this email I was like OH S-........
