Report the bug and go back struggling to get your website to rank.
Pennywise pounds foolish in my opinion.

It's not like he's being told to commit a crime or defraud Google.

The whole blackhat SEO process relies heavily on taking advantage of and exploiting loopholes.

So making this seem like one saintly act when you'll still go back to applying blackhat ranking tactics on your site, in my very opinion is being pennywise and pounds foolish.

I'm not saying that it's a saintly act, I'm just trying to say that there could be a bounty if he reported it. He's already shown that he is not interested in using it to rank. I don't know enough about whether or not he uses blackhat tactics to talk about your other points.

. Why report it to earn pennies while you can earn big moooney?
 
If it's directly related to organic search and gaming algo, they don't pay an amount worth of telling them a story.

They pay more if it's security related, and they love getting young kids excited about it!

There's no morality in helping them doing their work for very little money. Immoral, it's what they offer in return. We're not talking about an average company here.
