Hello All,

I can't believe what happened today. My account has been permanently limited since January. We all know permanently limited means you are not getting it back. Well over the past few months (with breaks in between) I have went back and forth with them and always got the appeal denied email back. Most emails they told me to get my eBay account back and then they would review my case. Yesterday I just had enough because I asked some questions regarding a previous email they had sent and it was as if they went back to default by just sending out the standard email telling me why I was banned. I blew up - I sent them back an email with a few bad words in it and basically telling them I was sick of computer generated responses due to my limitation. I did go on a bit. I also told them I didn't have to go through this hassle and could easily just create a new account. Sending bad words is not a thing I normally do and I do feel bad about it but hey what's done is done.

So, today I got a reply from them telling me their staff should not be subjected to such language and on this occasion they have decided to allow my appeal go through. They advised me to login to my account and go to the Resolution Centre to see what needs to be done. I did and all I had to do was type ''I agree'' on their Acceptable Use Policy. I submitted that and refreshed my browser and was greeted with a message saying ''Your account has been fully restored''. Woohoo!

So basically... Get aggressive with them if you feel you are talking to a circuit board!!

Now if only eBay would unblock me and all would be well in the world again...

Congrats, you should consider yourself lucky, I never heard anyone saying he got his permanently limited Paypal account back.

Good for you. Keep in mind that paypal has the habit to limit accounts over again. I would suggest you to withdraw any money you have in there and let it rest for a few months.

Thank you. I still can't believe it. Especially since my eBay is still blocked.

That is one of my fears. I will just be using it to buy things for the moment so I should stay under the radar. I am definitely not going to do what I was going before ;)

wow you seem to be very lucky.

Do you mind sharing why you got permanent limited? :D Just curious and want to avoid that in the future.

I guess being aggressive wouldn't work every time. Usually being nice works out. After all we are speaking to a human at the other end.

I second that. This is kind of success story that's inspiring.

Now the method gets saturated and PP will patch their soon with some new ideas IMO.

Anyways, congrats.

Thanks for all the replies. As I mentioned I don't normally get abusive and am always an all around nice guy but being nice with them was just getting me computer generated responses so I did get annoyed and took it to the next level and hey it worked :)

if your story is really true you need to get any money that was in your account out cuz paypal is satanic and will take it from you or even wait until you have more money in ur account and take it from you.

I don't really like what they done lol, I mean it's nice that you got your account back (very nice), but they just placed their staff over their customers... that's so scrub.

well i also had a loss account in past

now i am caring about my account everything fine : new one
