Strangely enough, it is faster than the normal mustang that has 300 hp.
Sadly my insurance is $1800... Never buy a red car targeted towards kids!

@DownTheRabbitHole Isn't that the truth, what a POS that they make your insurance higher for having a red car. I'm not certain how much it was, but it was a decent amount due to mine being Redfire. -.-

In the new 5.0's, it's a lot easier to handle than a lot of vehicles out there. :p When you drive manual, it's clearly the best choice over automatic. However sometimes I wish I had an automatic so that I don't have to have a bigger left calf than my right from stop lights. :|

Sadly, yes - I did it all myself. Bought the car ABSOLUTELY stock, with 35K miles on it. I guess that's not bad, could be worse like someone who puts stupid shit on it that doesn't know what they're doing it and I find out about it by being stuck in the middle of somewhere.

Do you think you are going to mod anything about it, or are you trying to stick to that warranty? There is some really cool things I'd do to those coyotes.

Yes sir! The SI only comes in Manual. The best part? I couldn't drive stick before I bought the car and I did not even test drive it! Haha.

My father drove it home for me, gave me a 10 minute lesson and suggested that I stayed in the neighborhood. 5 minutes later I was outside of the neighborhood giving it a real romp. Fun times!

I got it with 6 miles on it and it's now up to 22k a little over 2 1/2 years later.

The only downpart is due to low torque and a high RPM range, it's not the best city car because you have to push it a bit to keep up with traffic. However, it's insanely fun for what it is when you get to open it up all the way. It revs up to 8,300 and when Vtec (gas saver) opens up at 5800 it goes from 140hp to the full 200 hp and it feels like you're getting sucked into a vortex.

It can actually keep up with the Evolution 10 from 40-100 but after that it gets smoked. Not bad in my opinion!

However, I am genuinely jealous of your 5.0, especially because you got a manual.

Well, I do not want to change much right off the bat, just a few cosmetic things such as new rims. Down the line I may actually mod it a bit. Since it is a 2011, the warranty is actually almost gone unfortunately.

Downtherabbithole, it set me back about 26k and thats with insurance tax and title as well.

Me too! Epic pic. I'm going to print that off and stick it up for inspiration. I'll happily have a Mustang though as its the car I wanted when growing up.
