I've been lurking a bit on these forums for a while and SEO have been an interest of mine for the past couple of years. I'm one of the lucky with an education and a job, but as a pure passion i wanted to make my own blog and get some actual viewers.

I started my SEO campaign the 21 st of march and yesterday i had 750+ uniques on my site. The past two days ive made about 3 USD from adsense.
I can say its all thanks to this forum and some expert help from you guys that i actually did it and i cannot thank you enough for that.

A little question though. I've tried Traffic Travis to check out my rankings and such but i have no clue if its because i'm using the free version or just because im bad at it, that it doesnt give me correct data.
Is there any alternatives to Traffic Travis?

Congrats, that's quite an achievement on a blog less than 2 weeks old. You can use micromasters to check your rankings. You can have 10 keywords for free, they advertise on here:

There's a lot of rank checkers and they all vary with results. Google has a lot of data centres and they can give different rankings depending on where you are pulling the results from.

Really happy for u. in less than 2 weeks and you started getting visitors already. Well, I love it because I'm in the same boat. I LOVE WRITING and I'm in the luxury of having a lot of time. So, it felt a bit like me talking there :). Now ,it's time to grow your site up and scale it to 100,000 visitors / day :D
 
Sorry for the late response. Yeah I'm scaling up now and had 4 different pages (new domains) raise in PR a lot and getting visitors / converting. Out of the 4 pages I made 2 of them is PR 1 one PR 3 and one PR 4. Done in about 30 days.

Thanks. I like it here but it's an expensive city to live in. I had a blast last time I visited Prague. If they spoke natively English there I would move :)
