I feel like giving up...

6 mths in black hat world,I have only make $50
Everyday,spend so much time reading information only to be overwhelmed and don t know which direction to take.
Sure I have followed some of your advise to focus only on one subject matter to develop my expertise on which is micro niche site.
At the start result is still not so bad,I made $5 in that mth,susequently I tried to create such website only to get even more confused with information overload.

It is very difficult to keep up esp. having to deal with unexpected stuff.
Read all the self help books,end procrastination,time management,end stress it still doesnt work out quite effectively.

Dont give up man. Its hard, especially trying to get it done like so much of us are, but you gotta keep plugging away. This isnt a handout deal, this is a teach you how to take it. Check out this thread and check your pm

you can make much more than that with article writing.

I'm doing it for a year now with mediocre success, still learning while I move along, but I can see the pattern: every 100 visitors a sale on average. And that's also what others are saying: 1% conversion rate (not great, I know, but I guess you need to have something extraordinary other than regular affiliate stuff to sell to do better).

So you only need to work on getting more people to your site and you will earn more. You find plenty of ideas and tools here at BHW. And if you are not in a field where you get can a couple hundred visitors a month, think about a different niche.

IMHO it really works, you just need to play the numbers!

The moment you think of giving up! Kick your self up! Keep pursuing your dream! And ya, the moment you feel helpless, just think of me! After 12 months of sheer frustration and about 20K in debts because of BH marketing, I am doing a stable 15K+ now . So keep going! It takes time, and it takes money to earn money! Give both of them in the right proportion, and you'll make some!


PS. My account might seem too new to be doing such income, but well yeah! I am doing it!

I feel your frustration but I'd suggest sticking with only one or two methods in order not to get burned out. I exploited WILDLY twitter as soon as it came out with good success even before knowing there were thousands of people selling methods (90% lame stuff..) about it and I still think that with the right program (after the bastards lowered the limits so dramatically..) being Tw33tAtt4cks now and an average CPA offer YOU WILL make money. Don't give up and stick to only a few methods.

A guy in another thread wisely said: "now I'm in the mode: read, then I go wow this is great BUT I'm doing my thing already" and I truly believe that's a great piece of advice. HTH

Screw giving up. Working online is the most lucrative job bar none. Just think of it this way. You go to work and work for someone else. No matter how many hours you put in or how much you bust your ass your just putting more money into the owners pocket. Devote that time you would be spending working for another douche towards a specific niche/traffic source. It will pay off as long as you work and stay dedicated. If you run out of ideas pm me and I will lend a hand the best I can.

And one more quick word of advise... the biggest mistake people do is, keep reading! Act upon what you've read! And you should be through

Its obvious that you took a bad strategy.
Now I can offer you to ask some of black hats here for buying some of their methods.

This is very true. Spend more time doing stuff than reading. If you just read, you can probably read forever as there are so many methods out there. You have to test the waters and see if something works for you. Success through elimination.

Do what you do best. I am a Web Designer, I use my design skills to market layouts, create landing pages with CPA offer, etc.

What are you good at? If you can figure out the answer, THEN APPLY YOUR SKILLS TO IM.

True.... one thing to remember as a noob! There is no sureshot method! Everything is very much dependent on what kind of marketing you do, what amount of work you do etc! BH doesn't have a RULE you can work by.

Depending on the way you promote it could be

1+1 = 11 or 111 or 1111 or 99999

Speaking in short, there is nothing that can GUIDE you but your own experience! Remember, read a lot, work even MORE, analyse a little on success, RINSE, REPEAT, and NEVER STOP!

6 months is no time at all man, if you were to do an apprenticeship that would be 6 years, so taking 6 months leaning BH internet marketing is no time at all.

As for Information overload, I know exactly where you're coming from, but you just have to find a way around it.

Do you have backup.
What was your motivation or goal of getting into this, do you think you can do it, or be just another ant in the colony, moving mountains, and not even being paid peanuts for monkeys.
You need to first understand your strengths
Do your SWOT.
Find your goal. And then dont give up, however hard the path might be.
You need to Plan, learn, do/act, accept mistakes, re (plan) organise, relearn, redo, keep the cycle repeating, with mistakes decreasing and results increasing, if you cant, you are not made for it. Its better to find your vocation.
If you need anything you can always ask for help. Its always around.

Making money on the internet is not easy, thats why I laugh at these make 100k/year in 10 minutes after seeing this video style shit..

Really you need to know how to make a website, you need to be able to get unique content, you need to research seeding methods.

Most of all you need to get adsense going first, then work out CPM, then move onto CPA after that I think that is the most difficult to do.

dont waste your time on spamming blogs and forums and concentrate on writing some quality articles. i know guys that rank place one for their microblogs without a single backlink - if you mix some blackhat seo with useful content, it should improve itself.

If you only want to earn money desperately, write simple e-books, or take others, and sell them on DigitalPoint. Yesterday a longtime member there sold the CPA Manifesto that we have here for free, for 19$ each copy, he sold his 10 "copies" of it within a few minutes. He didn't even bother removing the author name from it.
Sure, I reported his ass but I doubt he gets caught.

Here's what all answers lack: Attention. Noone reads more than the title to write a useless "sticktoit" post. This one is different.

Being 6 months in the black hat forum and having made only 50 dollars is very discouraging. Especially when seeing all those people writing "50k in just one second, do nothing" articles.
Those are very successful because they target the greed in every human. Not helpful for you but for the writer's income or at least his ego, that thousands of people read his post.

So your greed gets the best of you. Everyday, you spend so much time reading information on how to "get rich" but only with the option of sueing the author if it does not work. But then you forget even that and your greed-induced happiness makes way for the bad feeling that you are overwhelmed and don't know which direction to take, as you suspect every information to be important. Which is very common in every self-help. Be it "how to become a freelancer" or "how to play good golf". What every book is lacking is a route. No "now you have to be creative" - how the fuck should I be creative? Then the author shows what creativity has to look like and you see: Well this is not what I'd come up with. And you switch to the next method.

You don't question whether using a niche is even a good idea(it isn't).

Yes, it is a never ending flood of unimportant information. But the mind says: "Couldn't it be important somehow?" and the circle goes on.

Some great advise been given on here, the main opinion is to stick at it, as with anything in life you get out of life what you put in to it. I dare say all the people earning big money now had the same feelings as you when they were first starting up in IM.

Im just starting my 3rd month at this, and first month nothing, second month around $45.00. So im hoping things increase a little this month but im happy enough, im earning something from 1 blog thats 2 months old. If I can do it with 1 blog I can do it with more, so it comes down to how much work I want to put into it, rinse and repeat as they say.

I had another blog that was getting steady hits all through the first month, ranking 1st page for a few dozen long tail KW but just never produced sales, I think some niches are like that, some sell well and some just don't.

12 years ago I had nothing, 2 years later I had a company turning over more than a million a year, 2 years after that i went bankrupt, took me 5 years to pay off my debts and start to build my life again, got a house, and an investmant property and business was steady, not great but steady then bang...credit crunch. 6 months ago I lost my house, investment property, car the lot, walked away with the clothes on my back and my computer under my arm...homeless. Im living at a friends house at the moment luckily.

So what do I do...sit and cry about it...worry about it, the way I see it is I've done it before, I can do it again. You just got to keep picking yourself back up, dusting yourself off, and get back into it.

Don't give up, die trying, not thinking I wish i'd tried harder.
