Hi guys, Thank you for opening this thread.

So, straight to the point.
How does anyone get any actual work done and it leads to actually making money in any niche.
I have been introduced to the online for the past 3 years and till date i can't boast of making $300 from the internet.

I always seem to not be able to commit to one thing and actually make it work.. It's this thing called shiny object syndrome.

I thought i was over this because i've kinda been trying to make affiliate marketing work for about 2 years but i can't even seem to launch a campaign.. I feel so dumb and sad for feeling this way even after 3 years.
I'm not in college so i happen to have alot of time on my hands but i can't make anything work

I joined this forum few days ago and i've been overwhelmed by the immense value and community and i've also read a few threads on peoples journeys and how they suceeded. i wanna do the same but i just feel like i won't be able to keep up and fail again..

Nb- the few times i managed to push myself to take massive action i end giving up because i feel like it's not perfect and would not work out.

My question to anyone that read up to this point with some success in anything at all..

What would you advice a 19 year old that's totally lost with no solid skills and about $100 bucks in savings (tier 3 country) should do .. to finanly begin making some decent income online monthly.

PS - I appreciate every single response left on this thread
PPS- I'm open to anything at all
PPPS - I'm trying to move out of my parents home by my 20th birthday which is in june and i'm becoming quite desperate to start generating a decnt income for myself

What do you believe you love to do and in what kind of environment?

Then my next question would be how can we find a model to make a living from this.

I generally love to help people and share my knowledge.. i plan to do that at some point with youtube but i think i really need to generating an income for myself so i don't become selfish trying to monetize the value i can provide just so i can make money.

Do you get?.. I like to help from a pure place not because i want something..

but i really love the idea of affiliate marketing and have stuck with it for a while.. i feel like i owe it to myself to really make something happen in this niche

To answer all your questions and to sort out your problems.. go get a job.

As your living at home do this with your income:

Give 20% to your parents (it shuts them up)

Put 20% aside for fun / going out whatever

Put 40% into savings / long term savings DONT TOUCH THIS MONEY

Save 20% for a business investment / project / sideline whatever.

Adjust figures as needed.

That's what you need to do as a 19yr old. Save some money, get a job. Things in life will be easier. STAY AWAY FROM DEBT.

What exactly did you try throughout those 3 years and why did you fail?

If you want to start making money within a month or two than you should stay away from ranking sites or affiliate pages for now and don't invest in any ads since you're low on cash.

Maybe you could try CPA and once you start getting a few $ per day, you could start working on other things. Take a look at the CPA journeys here on the forum to see what has worked for others then go into those platforms and spy on competition.

Don't overlook the spying part. Sometimes I'll spend half a day spying on competitors on different platforms to get an idea of what is working and I find many unique methods that have never been posted here.

Thats pritty solid advice and plan!

To add extra:
Work for a year to understand whats shity job feels like (will learn to respect money). Get planner app (LeaderTask ) and learn how to properly plan ur time (weekly bases + monthly targets), get money manager app and start learning how to save and manage ur money.

During this years work on ur personal insecurities/problems (if u have any), get layed as much as u can and read books and in free time keep trying IM.

After a year sit down evaluate progress and decide what you wanna do next is it career or entrepreneurship. If first = go college if second leave ur shity job (= loads of free time) and use ur saved money and knoowledge to start solid project.

Good luck mate! And calm down u got no problems as long as ur healthy!

Good pointers to follow. I'm in agreement with this, as working with people and peers, is a must for experience and learning how to manage your income.

When you have spare time after work, then build upon your skills, plenty of material out there.

Best bit!! It would help a lot if you find a job that is related to web development/marketing/designing/SEO -> It will help you to see how people with full time IM jobs (employees) do it. Compare that on BHW, there is actually a lot that you can learn here. Dedicate time on learning from BHW, real job will support your experiments (based on real job + BHW learning). I bet if you keep it up for just 1 year, you will find yourself in a positive position.

Good Luck!

What value can you offer people to help them then? Is there something specific people would appreciate this kind of effort from you and if they did, would they be willing give back to you while being transparent that these are ( as an idea) affiliate links so they return the so called favour to you?

If what you can offer them is worthy, then worth a try.

If you can find a job and a peer within that firm (someone maybe you maybe mentor), share the idea and do a joint effort as a side project on this to understand the business hurdles and all, so it becomes a good learning experience for later. This way you can learn what it also means to work with others on a goal.

Hope you get the gist, you gain quite a bit from these parallels.
