I failed at SEO - complete failure

I cant rank anymore....building links via forums used to work...i even use vpn to do that....to avoid detection by google....
First I was in top 10, then I changed some pictures on the page and felll to top 20, now I am nowehre to be found......am I being penalized.....
what is working in SEO??

I did not use even keywords in link anchor text.....I switched them around......i feel like a failure....smalll indians sites sudenly came to top 10 and beat me......and I am not in even top 100 now......what is going on...

what choices do I have.....I am posting from relevant niche forums.....quora..... dont use comments, cause they suck......
each link is posted clever so it sticks..... but my ranking just dropped

what quality links i can post if I do not invest in pbn?
 
I did not use any forum profile links....only forum links.....
 
Aggressive Forum Post, Blog Comments, Profile Backlinks considered being SPAM. So you may be penalized (Most Probably).

Setup Google Webmaster Tools, you can get the message there for your site. If you are penalized, Identify the possible issues for Penalty fix them and Request a manual review. Hopefully, you can recover your site.

Keep in mind, Before taking any steps:
1. Learn more about SEO. Gather solid knowledge.
2. Keep eyes on recent updates and keep your self-updated on the trends.

I checked google webmaster tools I found nothing there......
 
can I pm you, to check? I lost all my traffic in the last few days.....I crosslinked ebooks from my other site, both are in health niche......Google is so weird....you do a little minor change and you are not found anywhere anymore....it just sucks...
 
There are new things to try asid from just forum posting or blog commenting for SEO. Do fill your knowledge
 
What about web2.0, free static sites, guest posts, social signals, infographics, audio & doc sharing platforms?

Surely you can do that if you don't have budget for pbn.

You have to diversify your link profile. Also don't overoptimize anchor text.
 
I am really careful on how to post forum links...they look natural.....i will not be able to find guest posting in my niche
 
guys be more specific.........ell me exactly what to do to diversify links.........I owuld like to make few blogs too.....wordpress.com I was thinking , blogger I willavoiid cause of google.....what else

Tell'em your Niche or PM details about Niche, product / service, keywords.
I will manually outreach guest blogs based on your niche &
I will get back to you with list of 20 Blogs that accept guest post.

Sorry to hear that, Actually now SEO works is so much versatile. Don't relay on one strategy you should do backlink on different kind of platform so that google can't track you. BTW Hope for the best.
 
could just be bouncing around we are going through 2 major updates atm

Check my previous posts. There is a thread about burying ripoffreport. I shared a list there.

You can use the same list to get new links.

that is much better, i never did guest blogs, I always think my english is not perfect and they will just delete the post later on.....
so basically you just write a post...link to some wiki and your site and that is it right? good idea I think.....
is it safe to spin the content for anotehr site or not....to write something really similar?
 
SEO is very easy task you just have little bit knowledge about google update and on page your website will be very good ranked because in seo the we have focused mainly in on page but also we focus in off page because without backlink you cant get the traffic on you site

This sometimes happens when you update a page. It vanishes for a day then pops back to the same or better spot, depending on what you did.
