I F*cking Hate Google Adwords!!

So I've been using them for PPC for a little while. I had a really good campaign running for a health product I am promoting (not acai or colon cleanse)

700 clicks a day and 15% CTR. I was paying around $0.18 a click. Everything was going good until google slapped the campaign. All my keywords now have a 1/10 quality score.

I cannot restart the campaign, once I do, it runs for 30 minutes then dies. I got an (auto) email from them saying that if I submit anymore shitty landing pages I will be banned forever.

My landing pages are perfect. It's 100% unique and full of good quality content to educate the customer about the product. I also have contact us, privacy policy etc.

Anyways enough ranting. Does anyone know how I can get a hold of someone at adwords. I have their number but when I call and enter in my account info, it just says send them an email for help. I did a google search and found on a forum they were saying that you have to be spending a lot of money with them for them to pick up the phone on you. So if anyone has an extension or another number where I can talk to someone that would be great.

For me there support was always a shit! Never got any kind of help from them.

just migrate to a new domain, figure out what triggered the slap, and rebuild the campaign from scratch excluding whatever it was. same keywords & ads are fine, its just your domain that gets blacklisted.

Join the 'google is stupid' club.....they took my campaign off because 'a third party' accused my product review site of selling counterfeit goods..

My site is just a review site...doesn't sell a thing

Google shut down my adwords account with ONE campaign running for my clickbank product that gets almost ZERO returns. Everyone loves what I created. This was also associated with an authority domain which took years to build.

What kills me is there are affiliates who ARE running adswords campaigns for my product.

Yes I tried doing that and it worked for 3 days and then went down again. I changed the whole layout of the site. Landing page is good, keywords are perfect, f*ck, everything is good.

I had over 15%CTR so I was paying pretty much nothing for keywords and in fact the only advertiser using that keyword.

In my opinion my landing page meets all of google's terms. No outrageous claims, not a bridge page, no fake reviews, and provides unique content (checked with copyscape)

I know a lot of you guys are in the same boat as me so you get how I feel. I just lost 99% of my income stream. :get_ready

Don't take anything i say the wrong way, but reading what you've put, seems to me that you're kind of lying to yourself or us. (Hear me out before you jump down my throat.)

If your LP "meets all of Googles terms", you wouldn't get slapped. What Google cares about most is user experience, if the experience you provide is shoddy to shit, then they couldn't give a fuck about whether you have met all their published guidelines. (Remember Google hides the vast majority of criteria.)

Secondly, if you had to Copyscape check your page/s, that sounds to me that it was at some point, of origins not of your own hand. If you wrote it, it doesn't need checking because it's yours and properly unique. And by properly unique, i mean fresh and new. I don't mean some crappy articles that have been spun every which way from Tuesday and are little but the inane ramblings of a someone taking boredom tablets with a lose grasp on "writing".

I would bet my life savings on it being shitty copy, probably with a small amount of keyword stuffing and no consideration for LSI.

No offense taken. In my OPINION, my landing page meets all of google requirements. Then again, I really don't know what google's requirements are because it's confusing as shit.

As for copyscape, even though I wrote my own content, I still used other people's articles to get ideas off of. I just wanted to make sure everything was ok.

The adwords QS is a load of crap. If I am getting a 15% CTR, doesn't that mean people are interested and my content is unique? I think they would know better that if someone who spends a crap load of money a day to stop if their ad was not making any money.

Yup that sum is up. I had a few of my own products, getting 7/10 etc with Googles "finger in the air" ranking system.

Suddenly 1/10, woulda cost me 4x as much to get ad in the top three.
Warcraft guide (most now considered "spammy" - which to be fair they are)
Diets (anything - I reckon anyone operatinganything but a MEGA established diet site is taking a nosedive now)
Pills/Potions/Viagra. Stack of sites plummeted for this since January 2010

There are other niches, but Google is slapping the ass off these three and has been for about 3 months.

Don't start new sites in these areas if google is main traffic source. They will be "still born".
