i dont know how to downgrade twitter

twitter android now wont let me copy and repost my own tweet. so i am looking to downgrade.

however, i cannot find a place to download twitter 6.0 because everyone of them try to get me to click on their fake links/ads. apk4fun, apkrec, apkmirror. they are all the same. i dont even know if they actually have anything for me to download. its like a mine field.

how do i tell which is the real link?

If you are using an Android, you can download the older version APK file on APK Mirror. They actually have a lot of good files. The files they are providing are clean and they only deal with legitimate apps so there is no actual danger.

Yea, i guess those are just ads you're clicking on. Install an adblocking extension in your browser, that will block the ads. I just tried to download the first result for "twitter 6 apk" on Google, which leads to apkmirror and the apk was downloading just fine. This is the direct link to the Twitter 6.0.0 apk: https://www.apkmirror.com/wp-content/themes/APKMirror/download.php?id=88696. This should work.
