Its not true.
I made one app with app inventor and he is generating $40/day for me.
It is more about your idea for app and increase downloads.

Now imagine, if you do this app in native, you can have more than $100/day xD
just using native ads from admob

Of course, but for sure the app builder platform takes its ads revenue share man. Not worth in the long run. Just make yourself a favour an learn java/kotlin/flutter and starting taking control 100% of your apps.

There is a website called bubble which provides you drag and drop options to build an application. Check it out and try codecanyon where you can find lot of applications.
