I started a new store and i contact an aliexpress supplier to ask them some questions before working with them ( Note they have very good rating 4.9 and a lot of orders and lots of reviews )

This is what i've asked them..

''Hi, my name is ..., I'm a dropshipper.

1. Do you allow dropshipping this product?
2. Do you have stock?
3. What is your processing time?
4. Do you put any invoices or promotions in the package?
5. Is there something important to know before selling your product?

Can you please answer the above questions?

Thankyou! I'm looking forward to work with you.

Their response was .. '' ok, dear friend ''

So i'm wondering how can i work with people that don't understand me or don't care?

I know a lot of people are using agents or bulk ordering, but i want to test the products first and dropship them for a while and then bulk order them and sending it to a fullfilment center with 1-2 day shipping.

I know how to market, i know how to build stores, the only thing i'm struggling right now is with this.

I really need help with finding good suppliers that speak english and build a relationship with.
I'm really struggling with this, how are you doing this?

Note: I'm selling only in the Netherlands and Belgium

in most cases, the only way to know how good a seller is is to test it .. buy from 3 to 4 best sellers and see who ships first .. only then, you can proceed and have a discussion with him to know more details about the products or ask for discounts..
that's the way I do it. I think it's more practical...

first, dropshipping is not doing well nowadays especially to the US because of the crisis ..and long shipping days (most airlines companies will stop working starting from 16 Juin)

So you never contact them before working with them? You only check the orders and reviews?

Without contacting them yourself or using a middleman there's not really a way for you to find out who can communicate well. When I was looking for sellers, I've noticed that ones with slightly higher product prices than their competitors were the ones who were able to speak and understand English well - probably they are resellers themselves, but paying few $ more is worth it.

Have you considered digital products?

I contacted some of them with the same questions and all are the same with their stupid answers: "ok dear order as soon as possible so we can ship products" so they care just about selling and get your money

hahaha this is what i mean!!

don't waste your time with aliexpress suppliers, only a few speak English or respond properly

if you need to test products, buy directly from Aliexpress for a few days...there are some suppliers that report processing time in the product description, some are dropshipping friendly and ship the product in up to 24-48 hours...you can also search for products that have stock in Spain, to reduce delivery time

when you are sure you are working with a consistent and profitable product, you can search for a private agent to scale your business

yeap, because the majority don't even understand English. Also, I don't think it's worth it since they simply can lie to you about shipping time..etc
the only way is to Order and see yourself ..
after making sure products are being shipped fast, you can go to the next stages ...

the only thing I recommend you to ask about before ordering is when they claim they have warehouses in the US or Europe,
because lots of them lie about that too ..

Ah oke, i live in the Netherlands and ship only to the Netherlands and belgium, so the only option i have most of the time is shipping from China.
How long are you doing dropshipping?

Thankyou for your reply, so the best thing is just ordering it myself without contacting them. And then if the product is oke just dropshipping with them and after that a private agent?

I do print on demand merch. No issues with that and it is your custom product. Why dont you do that?
I've looked in to that but i think the profit is very small, maybe i'm wrong. How fast is your shipping + profit per sale ?

yes, for me this is working well... using aliexpress to test and private agents to scale

Aah oke thanykou! For me it is really important to build a relationship with a supplier so i know that if something goes wrong, they can fix it.

it is easier to build a rocket than doing business with chinese suppliers, besides few ones with good will and decent level of english, rest will either not care or do what the f**** they want. Rather try to find suppliers anywhere else in the world OP.

If the profit is not good your pitching it wrong. I make about $30 - $100 profit per product.

Slightly depends where it is going but delivery is usually within the week.

You could use https://www.gooten.com/ and integrate direct into a shopify store.
