Hello. I consult about selling unofficial "pirate" courses on facebook through inbox messages (not by posting in groups or creating a group for those purposes). Can Facebook penalize me if a profile complains? If so, what penalty could it have?

If you are in the US, they might even take legal action against you since you are selling hacked courses illegally on the platform.

It's not in the US

It is not legal to sell "pirate" courses that infringe on someone else's intellectual property rights, such as copyrighted material, without the proper authorization. While it is possible to sell courses through Facebook, doing so without the necessary permissions could lead to legal consequences.

Regarding Facebook's policies, selling or promoting illegal goods or services is not allowed on the platform, and violating these policies could result in penalties, such as account suspension or termination.

If someone complains to Facebook about your activity, Facebook may investigate and take action if they find that you are violating their policies. This could result in penalties such as account suspension or termination. Additionally, if you are selling copyrighted material without the necessary permissions, you could face legal consequences, including fines or even criminal charges.

Therefore, I strongly advise against selling "pirate" courses through Facebook or any other platform, as doing so could lead to severe legal and financial consequences. It is always best to respect the intellectual property rights of others and obtain the necessary permissions before selling or distributing their material.
