I climbed a mountain today.

Wow, nice job! You look dangerously close to the edge in that last pic, I hope it's just because of the perspective.

Good stuff, Skye!

I'd love to climb a mountain.. I'm just terrified of heights lol.

We are planing to visit Phuket & Bali.
I made a post the other day about Bali; how much is the entire trip costing you?

Are you stopping somewhere or just toughing out that 22 hour flight?

Unless you already live on the other side of the world!

Congrats! It's not a easy to climb a hill. Awesome shots!

great journey, the nature, the air, and the calm, its good for the mind and the body,

We are still in the beginning stage and working out all the factors. I will post the details once we wind up everything.

More ups and downs while climbing a mountain that reminds me a thing about life. That is we have more ups and downs that cause suffer in life and then we reach our destination whatever we want, good as reach the peak of the mountain with more happiness.

Well done. Next time consider the one behind you in the last photo, covered with snow.

That looks hard and rewarding at the same time! I've never hiked, but definitely would love to do it at some point. Thanks for these beautiful pictures!

Is that a pine cone next to the mushroom? It looks like a rose. That's kind of neat.

Did you see any animals?

Yeah, it is a pine cone

I just want to know whether there are animals in your hiking area?
In case if you unfortunately met an wild animals while hike what will you guys do? ;)
Because in my native there are more wild animals so can't able to go there through hike and the main reason is it is not a good place for hiking. :(

The western side of the cascades, the only thing to worry about are bears and cougars. Ive been doing this for years and haven't ever seen one yet (though I have seen bear poop), but I usually have my dog with me and usually one of us has a gun. On the eastern side of the cascades, have to watch out for rattler snakes.

For the most part I don't worry about to much.

Im about 4 ft from the edge.

Thats MT hood. Its on my list...but want some more under my belt first. Hood is very difficult. People die all the time doing that one.

Some nice looking scenery. They will never find the body up there.

haha very true. The whole PNW is like that...

Unreal views man. The average Instagram white girl would have killed to be there taking pictures with you haha

Interesting. Is that the gun is enough for you to save from bears and cougars?
The hiking time is the fact. Most of them told in the morning time and in the evening time they will be moving out from their shelters to get food.
I just like those kinds of hiking want to see wild animals while hiking. But only with safety measurements.
And i like watching the Man vs Wild to see such kind of things. But still didn't see any cruel wild animals in those episode, Except the Crocodile from the long shot.
I love these kind of stuff makings. But can't able to go in my locations. Just keep on watching and hearing these ill get some pleasure.
And some of my friends will tell me, wants to go for a trekking in forest areas that's the only thing can be done here and get a real selfie with wild animals.
Nice sharing Skvebug77.

Seems pretty awesome, sometimes getting off that computer and hoping on the trails is amazing!

Over here in Montreal people hike everywhere, many manyyy hiking trails up and down the Laurentians chain as we call it!

The average IG girl with say "ohhh I'm too tired to climb this sh*t, why not go to a bar instead ?" or "Ahhh I can't climb this, I can wait you down here" :D Feels good if you can find a girlfriend, who likes hiking, but no luck for now :D
