I can't work google out!

I've built an Amazon affiliate site that i've put a lot of effort into good content ect. it's over a year old now And after October 10th rankings are dropping. I've not done any link building. the site was an expired domain that I've kept in exactly the same niche.

I did a new page on the site, not a selling page more informational and i can't get it to index it's been two days now.

I have another site that I just turned into an Auto blog that uses the best spinner and produces crap spun content ect, I just did fetch as google and the post was instantly indexed. go figure!

Does my good site have an Algo penalty?

I have also found out that google is taking longer to index posts esp on blogs that you do not blog on hourly. you can however use google xml sitemap for videos to try and index the post.

I would not be so sure abt algo penalty

For the autoblog, if it publishes content regularly, it is not surprising to find that content does get indexed quickly.

TBF it has been a good 6 weeks since I last posted, but this is the first time I've had this problem with the particular site. It's also with the rankings taking a nose dive 6 pages that were top 40 are now not in the top 100. I say MEH to Google
