I Can't Verify my Gmail Account Using Phone, Is it a Bug?

I tried to verify my gmail account using voice call but Damn!

The number flash for like 0.1 seconds and then disappear.
How the hell do they expect people to receive that phone call?

Is it because of my phone or gmail bug?

Try using a friend's number to request the code via text message or voice call. Google won't use this number for anything else besides account verification.

Do I have to use any special phone or apps to receive the google voice call verification?
 
No no special app is needed.

I verified it 2 months ago but now have 2 step verification which texts me a code to enter whenever i login from an unknown computer.

Now a days i think its a problem with Gmail. I sometimes don't get the text and when i receive the Call there is no voice at the other end.
 
All I know, since this morning some Google products have been undergoing technical difficulties. You can try later on, or you can easily opt for sms-verification

So I should receive the phone call with the verification number?
How long do they usually hold the line?

lol, google broken once i had to reactivate my account because it got banned........ used a ne wmobile and said its been used to many times even though it was first time and brand new number......... says a lot about google technology though... not very good.
