Hi everyone, I have a question for you who works and earns on instagram.
I already have my own online business with which I manage to live decently (not a lot of money, but enough to pay for home, taxes and some whims) and I am also dedicating myself to instagram, even if so far with little effort per day.
I have a motivation page that has about 2k of followers now, and I would like to invest more time and money to grow it.
My intent is to sell shotout, my question is .. but how much do you earn ?????
I can't really understand when a page earns ONLY from shotout. Obviously I know it depends on the followers, but at least an average I would like to know it to understand how much to invest in growth.
If anyone can share their experience, you will be grateful!

Selling shoutouts can make you some money but don't do it too much because your followers will get annoyed.
You are better off promoting other people's products or affiliate products.
Search for different ways to monetize..
It also depends on the niche. For meme page it is different than fashion page

Thanks for your answer, yes I also meant product or other shoutout. I asked about this because the way to monetize faster and I don't have time to open an ecommerce and manage it. The problem is that these gurus who claim to earn 1000 and more from shotouts cannot be trusted. For example, a "guru" in Italy says he earns 2k a month from a page only by selling shotout, with 250k followers. is this possible?

Well it doesn't only depend on the followercount. It also depends on the niche. Even motivation has many subniches.

As an established motivation page, you can easily earn $200 a day (and more - there is always room upwards as an influencer).

But as someone else said it already, just shoutouts alone won't be good. Try to diversify it with print on demand and affiliate programs.

this is a good answer. I am in the niche of quotes, I share images with a phrase created graphically by me. I take great care of the brand so I have my own style, a logo and curated highlights.
200 a day seems really high to me. Does this figure come from your personal experience or anything else?

It is a lot, yeah :) but it also takes some time and initial investments to get a good start.

When I first made $200, it was my "oh f*ck" moment. That's when I realized what I've achieved so far. I never focused on the amount of money I made until someone offered me that much for a 24h shoutout. Before that, I only wanted to figure out the IG limits and the Algorithm.

After those first $200 it was really easy to scale up.

Cool. How much followers did your page hit to get to that level?

It had about 400K if I remember right. +/-100K
I sold my first shoutouts with 15K though (for $10 24h post).

And after they offered it to you, did you manage to replicate it?
Because I see such large pages getting paid 60-100 dollars, but I don't understand the constancy of this. Anyway thank you very much your experience is definitely gold.
In addition to this I would like to ask you when you were on the 15k what numbers you earned only with shotout

You need to use 80/20 rule.
In 5 posts, 1 its a AD, and some people calculate 1$ per 1000 followers.

Wooow I’m also wondering how I can get money thru IG. I’ll just read thru and get ideas

Yes. For a few weeks I was in the 180-220 range and then scaled it up a bit after every inquiry.
With only 15K followers, there was no consistency at all. I rarely got any inquiries and if I got some, I tried to price it at around $10-20
