I Can't Contribute ANYTHING!

I've tried about 5 different times to post legitimate, lengthy responses to help some people out and I keep getting the stupid triggered our moderation system message. Nothing out of the ordinary, no links, no spam, NOTHING! I can't even respond to my own thread in the introduction section. I think I'll go back to being a leecher rather than a contributor, considering I can't contribute anything! It will be a miracle if this post even goes through. Waste of time!!

It happens to every newbie. The system is in place to fight the spams. It may be difficult but don't get frustrated and leave :-)
 
Get your post count up, spend some time here and you will get more privileges. You just joined this month and have 2 posts, what did you expect?

Spammers love this forum so the admins have to be careful.
 
How exactly am I suppose to get my post count up when every post I try to make gets blocked.
 
Speak to a Mod about your difficulties and try to turn it down a couple of notches on you'll get tossed out.
 
This also happened to me when I was new :) Hell, it was annoying, but as time passes and you build up some posts/thanks/rep things get a lot better. You will also be able to post links :P Just try to make your posts simple until you build up some post count.

I use to get that too. I wrote some lengthy replies, with some links but the spam bots didn't like it and asked me to change some words. The privilege of posting long post with links and pictures will come. You see my avatar up there? I just got them about 2 weeks. Then a signature. I think BHW has a good system in place. If you're new (stranger) you wouldn't talk that much, would you? Take the time. Keep posting.

I think text only works fine but you can't post any links.
Just reply to other shares which are method to you saying how helpful it was.
After 15 posts you can post links. 15 posts you can do it in a day. Just post
good replies.

Well I am the most long winded person around can you imagine how many of my posts were blocked? haha I got through it after a month and it was worth it.
 
It's not THAT hard to build up your post count. Just don't post swearwords or links and you should be fine.
 
check if the content your copying and pasting on this forum dont have links that might trigger the spam filter since your a newbie :D
