some weeks ago I created a website about a keyword that I found (16.000 ext local search) and I put on it some clickbank affiliate products.... after only 1 week my site was rank in 2-3 page and started to dance 2 and 3 page until today when I seen my site ranked 1# in the 1st page.... I thinked "oh well its cookie that show me the site rank 1st" so I deleted cookies and I open market samurai to check and all confirmed that ITS 1st!!! I opened my cb account and seen this:

Now I hope only to not see a cashback tomorrow :(
the best thing is that I dont remember what seo work I made for this site LOL

lol fuck it, if everything crashes, you still made 1500 bucks! that aint bad for a day. Would have hit the thanks button but the whiny statement at the end of your post makes stopped me.

I like when sites you've forgotten about randomly rank and you get surprise checks in the mail. There's nothing better IMO. Nice job!
 
sounds like you are a victim of the "Google Honeymoon".... fast ranking for new sites, then a quick drop. The good news is that you should start to climb back up within a few weeks. Just do some sensible marketing of the site, and most likely you could return to #1 and stay there..

16k/mo gives around 250 visitors/day as #1 gets like half the traffic only and the other half goes to ppc and lower ranking sites. But still some factors like if the 16k is an accurate number and also the number of global searches too (Remember some of Europe countries convert well).
 
16k doesnt have to be divided evenly by 30, and fridays are good days for sales.

in these words there is one of the secret that I used :)

the secret is: think always about your visitors mind! some visitors can from also from country where english is a second language ;)
