I cannot see any backlinks in webmaster tool...why?

I have a new site downloadfromyoutube.com but I have been creating backlinks for more than 2 weeks but when I checked the webmaster tool yesterday, I did not see any backlinks listed there ...why?please let me know your thoughts.
links don't show up right away...it will take some time...just be patient and eventually they will show up
I would not be so sure about that. I have a client site that I have deliberately made links to a year ago, they still do not show. The few links that the site had have all disappeared.

Don't rely on webmaster tools is all I can say about this.
Used my own software, Quick Spy [part of Backlink Falcon software suite], and found 1367 links to your site from 298 unique domains. This includes the imported 10 000+ from ahrefs, but the 1367 are verified (live) and all unique URLs. Let me know if you want the links and the report and I'll PM them to you

It should just take some time for links to appear at your WMT
