I can reach my potential clients, what's next ?

So 6 months ago I've found an idea for an online service for construction companies in my country, And I've been working on my website since then and I finaly finished it and I am really proud of it , clean and elegant design and a very easy to use website

With a little search I found another local buisness directory that allow me to get all the info of the construction companies in my country (especially fax and phone number ) and even send them an email through that website ! So i've found a way to contact them

I started writing a simple script that scraped all those companies and can send them a message

But here is the part that I am bad at it , I wrote a simple message introducing my website and inviting them to visit it , but I really suck at this

I only sent to 1000 company and the results are awful

I know how much you hate those kind of requests, But I am really tired from all the hard work I've done before, I tried searching for emailing templates in google and in BHW but all I could found is some small advices on writing emails


So I am here asking you to help me with anything you can on how to write a killing email to get some clients

Call company manager and talk directly with him! meet with him and take his money!

I wish it was as easy as that, I don't have the confident to talk with them over the phone , This is why I want to start by email first
I just want to get my first client
I can do this later, I have all their phone and fax numbers too

I don't want to bump the post, but I really need your help guys

Stop emailing them you are wasting your time, how many time do you think theses guys receive emails like yours? They don't even read it, pick up the phone and learn how to deal with rejection.
I remember also reading about people mailing objects a few years ago, like small plastic trash cans saying 'You are throwing away money, etc...' because their online advertisement was bad, I'm sure you can find some people who wrote journeys about that on the forum.

I also forgot to mention, I live in a 3rd world country where 90% of companies are still using Fax machines and they don't get that much of spam email
Also I am not offering them SEO or web design services

hey man, for local business you seriously need to contact them by phone or whatsapp or any messenger service. That'd work much better than emails, trust me. i know you try to avoid phone calls and feel more comfortable with emails but seriously you should try it. after all, they are construction companies. construction companies supposed to be used to meetings and calls. i dont see them reading a lot of emails.

Start by asking, what's in it for them...
