I bought an expired domain name - what should I do next?

Hey guys,

I bought an expired domain name with great DA and PA and I want to turn into money site.

My question: What should I do about the backlinks I have on this domain name? For example: some of the backlinks are pointing to www.example.com/example2 ... In this case should I create these pages again so these links can work again?

Also, what services do you recommend here for SEO?

You can make a clone of older version of the website. it will be better to make changes later.

you can find the older version of the website from archive.org

you can clone the complete website with httrack

check for the old whois informations, try to set same owner informations again.

also you can choose to only copy the old content and use a new theme, urls must be same also see if it had SSL before expiration.
 
Why do people keep making these threads "I bought xxxxx now what"? Iv'e just tied my shoelaces, now what?
 
just upload content on that domain and start working but trying to use same niche which is best fit for your domain name
 
It depends if you are going to host the site as part of a PBN or just redirect it to your money site to send the link juice on to it. If you are going to host it as a PBN then like @just bob said, copy it from archive.org, I like waybackmachinedownloader on OSX. That should have all the pages in that you have links going to, if not then yes, add the page or use 301 redirects to push the missing pages to the home page. If you are going to redirect the site to your money site then just 301 the lot.
