About a year ago I decided to buy an aged linkedin account from one of the providers on the forum. I will not mention the name at all, the point is to share the story.

The person had several aged accounts. He sent me a list of them to choose from. I picked and bought two of them.

He gave me specific instructions. Do not change experience, don't change name, etc.

He also gave me the emails he used for these accounts (yahoo emails).

I did not change anything with the accounts.

I logged in about 5 times from the US. Did simple likes on different posts. That is it.

Then, I find that both accounts were restricted and that I have to upload documents to linkedin to show that they are a real person.

Of course, I did not have any docs to show that.

I tried to login to the yahoo emails for these accounts. The password was changed and I could not get access to them either.

Yesterday, I went back to the messages between and the seller. He had sent me about 8 accounts to choose from. I only bought 2 of them.

All 8 accounts were deleted.

That was a waste of $80 :(

Yh I noticed the same. I think is a recent update. I was looking for fake ID's to lift restrictions but could not find any, maybe with the company which was here on bhw getting sued they all disappeared.

Well that was money invested in learning something new that you were kind enough to share with us.
Moral of the story, fooling LinkedIn with fake profiles is very very hard.

P.S: How can you determine they were aged? If they were a couple of days old it would make them way more prone to restrictions.

As LinkedIn aged accounts seller I can tell if your story 100% true and it's all you did then you need to ask for refund or replace plus aged accounts are ok to change all the information like experience and location and everything else but not the name for sure.
Sorry about it.

Did you leave feedback for the seller?

Did you open a SL?

Or are you happy to let others buy from this seller and then all get scammed too?

You can always find out when the account was created by going to the setting portion of LinkedIn and see the account creation date.

In this case, I bough the accounts on the assumption they were created in 2018 but they were both created in 2016

Here is the problem: I don't know how I found the seller information! I know it came through the forums but I am not sure which thread. We communicated via whats'app.

I did not contact them - sometimes its is more of a headache to deal with these things. HOWEVER, I will contact them to see what happened.

You don't have enough privileges to be able to send PMs, so they must have contacted you via PM, so check your messages, maybe.

Well that certainly bites.
If they're willing to cooperate with you, you can either ask for a replacement or personally, just take your business elsewhere. $80 is cheep as prices go for a well learned lesson like this.

I can say with 1000% confidence this is either a recently implemented update or a shitty seller. I used to buy aged LI accounts all the time. They include those instructions for a reason, and it's important you follow them religiously, but if you're on good proxies you really shouldn't have an issue. Just warm the accounts up as you would an email, slowly increasing the actions per day.

I have never thought about it, but what if there is someone who wants to buy aged LI accounts and actually change at least the experience? Does anyone have any experience with it?

Quite a sad experience. I'm sorry this happened to you. It seems that this is not a completely verified and good-natured seller

Did you ask him for a refund? You can shitlist the member.

The problem in this case is not of the seller. There's a certain risk involved in buying selling linkedin accounts.
