i and e websites

1) What difficulties one may face if he opens a website such as ecarrepair dot com or icarrepair dot com as compared to carrepair dot com. Is it a good idea to run a website with such names especially when you can't register a domain name such as carrepair dot com.

2) what does E or I means infront of a domain name anyway?

3) CPC on car repair according to google is 5 dollars. would you be able to get the same cpc on icarrepair or ecarrepair?

I mean if I can have advantage of running a website by name of icarrepair or ecarrepair as compared to how to repair a car dot com, I believe the domain is much shorter and easy to remember

I searched through the web but wasn't able to find a satisfying answer

1)As long as you rank well for your keywords... it shouldn't really matter the domain name. The exact match domain would make it slightly more favorable in the eyes of a search engine. Especially when ranking for a specific keyword similar to the domain name.

2)The e and i are just prefix acronyms like "e-commerce" or "i-pad"... just makes it catchy and more intuitive--less generic.

3) CPC for icarrepair or ecarrepair are different entities from "car repair"-- dont forget you can even have the domain "wwwdot i hate cars dot com" and still rank for "car repair"

Its all about how well you optimize your articles and how well your back-links are

1. Its better to start with the desired keyword, than to finish with it, e.q. carrepairi.com is better than icarrepair.com

2. Thats my IMHO, and others might not share it - "ikeyword" sounds cheap, like everything iApple does (j/k). Its sounds fake, because "ikeyword" is associated with Apple, and anything not belonging to apple sounds like a cheap replica.

3. e in front of the domain means "electronic", like email = electronic mail. Electronic car repair... well that just sounds wrong.
