As someone who both loves movies and is a fiction writer with no tangible sales to back him up, I feel qualified to say this: focus on your next project. Training will take you places but it is not a substitute for real world experience. Many of the biggest names in film haven't ever touched Academy, some of the biggest flops in the industry have. All that really matters is that you're constantly refining your craft.

You could easily build a brand around yourself on the internet and make yourself a director who gets it done without Hollywood backing by producing good quality work again and again. You will stumble, you will fall, but A) you have a year to do it in and B) the vast majority of people don't care about your education. Only your results. This isn't the medical industry where training is an absolute must have.

I wish you the best of luck, from one creator to another. Don't give up, your soul will beat the snot out of you if you try to step back and stop doing what you do. Keep at it!

But seriously, I have been kicked out of couple schools, I know the feeling and it sucks. You can either find another school and follow your passion or move on to something else. Entirely up to you.

Do you know at least why you are denied? I mean precisely? Then you could work on yourself, on your mistakes.

Separete your production into 250 videos, promote them all, send visitors to CPA or CPD and make a million bucks, next year you'll win the f'n festival.
