Just another example for the heck of it:
A friend of mine is working at a biscuit / cracker manufacturing plant here. All there production lines, ovens, packing machines etc are of German origin. BUT they are not made in Germany, at least not anymore. If they need service for any of them, someone from Shanghai will fly in to fix it. The German Company has for many years now the manufacturing in China. But still the best machines in the world.
My wife uses only the "China-Phones". Clones of Nokia's or Samsung's. Cheap to buy and they do the job. If i remember correctly one of her oldest phones is a Nokia Clone with touchscreen - can't really remember what model. Frigging thing is about 3 years old and never given her any trouble.
And if you walk into a Wal-Mart, how many % of the non food items are made in China ?
If the quality is sooooooo bad, why do people keep buying them ?
